Wrongful Convictions (Letters for Liberation #1)
A letter to familiarize California legislators with statistics on wrongful convictions, and asking them to stand up to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) and the California Correctional Peace Officers Association (CCPOA).
Instructions:
- Click this link to open the letter to legislators on wrongful convictions.
Note: You need Adobe Acrobat software to view this file; if it's not already installed on your computer, you can click this link to download it for free.
- Print two copies of the letter - one for your Assemblymember and one for your State Senator (you'll look up their names and addresses below).
- Add your name, address, and the date where indicated, and sign each letter at the bottom.
- Click this link to go to a website where you can look up the name and address of your Assemblymember and your State Senator.
- Mail or fax a letter to your Assemblymember and one to your State Senator.
