Reform the YCA (Letters for Liberation #7)
A letter calling on California legislators to reform the Youth and Adult Correctional Authority and release incarcerated people convicted of nonviolent offenses back to the community.
Instructions:
- Click this link to open the letter to legislators on reforming the YCA.
Note: You need Adobe Acrobat software to view this file; if it's not already installed on your computer, you can click this link to download it for free.
- Print two copies of the letter - one for your Assemblymember and one for your State Senator (you'll look up their names and addresses below).
- Add your name, address, and the date where indicated, and sign each letter at the bottom.
- Click this link to go to a website where you can look up the name and address of your Assemblymember and your State Senator.
- Mail or fax a letter to your Assemblymember and one to your State Senator.
