Wandering Star

by Dona Janee'

A wandering star has no home,
Gliding to and fro, it is cursed and must roam.
Fighting an invisible quest is its only due,
Hoping to find a rest pod before the night is through.
A wandering star has no home,
If one must know the truth, it's a castaway be reasons of its own.
The wandering star's closest friend is infinite gloom,
And has no memory of the mammon web it did loom.
Oh wandering star... I would lend you my mirror if you were wise enough to see,
That the answers to your salvation live deep inside of thee!
